ADDENDUM TO PSC INTERNAL ADVERT NO. 8 OF 2025
The Secretary, Public Service Commission would like to inform all eligible serving Officers in Government Ministries and Local Governments that some corrections have been made in PSC Internal Advert No. 8 of 2025. In addition, new positions have also been added as indicated below.
The deadline for submission of applications for this addendum advert is Friday 28th November, 2025 before midnight.
The procedure for application is contained in the Main Advert posted on the Public Service Commission website https://vacancies.psc.go.ug
- Reviewing road designs for safety before and during construction, rehabilitation or upgrading of public roads in accordance with the Traffic and Road Safety Act, (Amendment) Act, 2020;
- Conducting road safety audits, road safety inspections by mapping black spots and road safety hazards along the road network in the Country; and preparing reports recommending appropriate measures in line with approved guidelines and the Traffic and Road Safety Act, (Amendment) Act, 2020;
- Managing the implementation of road crash prevention and mitigation programmes with emphasis on Engineering aspects in line with the Road Safety Strategic Plan;
- Advising on the current or projected ideas concerning designs of vehicles, Engineering plants, equipment and maintenance, with particular reference to safety devices;
- Assisting in coordination and implementation of road safety policies, laws, regulations, standards and action plans;
- Developing and updating Road Safety Audit manuals and Accident Investigations manuals and the Highway Code;
- Developing and reviewing Road Traffic Management Plans in line with the approved Safety Management Standards;
- Assisting in maintaining the Road Crash Database;
- Analysing and maintaining road traffic accident data/statistics and related information;
- Conducting accident investigations and preparing investigation reports and making recommendations on preventive measures;
- Profiling accidents involving public service vehicles;
- Identify accident hazards and suggesting remedies and mitigation measures;
- Participating in Regional and International harmonisation of road safety initiatives, protocols and treaties;
- Assisting in coordination of sensitization, and training programmes on road safety including the Annual Road Safety Week;
- Supervising and managing performance of staff in the Section;
- Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
