Applications are invited from suitably qualified Ugandans to fill available vacancies under Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA).   Applications should be filled ON-LINE and submitted not later than 7th June 2021.  The link to the e-recruitment system can be accessed at https://vacancies.psc.go.ug/ors.

 

Applicants are advised to: -

a)     Apply ON-LINE

b)     Scan and submit relevantly documents (O’ Level, A’ Level, Degree Certificates, Academic Transcripts and Professional Documents, copies of letters of employment) on-line.

c)     Each attachment must not exceed a limit of 1MB and only portable documents format (PDF) is allowed.

d)     Officers serving in the Public Service are required to print an Extract of PS Form 3 (2008) and obtain recommendation from their Responsible Officers.  They should then scan the recommendation together with the rest of the documents and submit online.

e)     In case of failure to obtain a recommendation from the Responsible Officer, the extract should still be submitted clearly indicating the reason(s) for the missing recommendation.

c)     If you already have an account, simply click on your right and update your profile.

d)     Click a Job from the list of advertised jobs in the menu.

e)     View the Job Details and Click “Apply now”.

f)      Review your application and SUBMIT.

Minimum Qualification
Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelor's Degree in Business Statistics, or Business Administration, or Quantitative Economics, or any other related field from a recognized University/Institution.
Working Experience
Applicants should have a minimum of two (2) years of working experience at Assistant Officer or Officer level in Government or from a reputable organization
Duties
The incumbent will be responsible to the Supervisor Business Analysis for performing the following duties:-

1. Conducting business observations and facilitating focus group sessions, vision exercises, and designing review sessions.

2. Developing business processes and work flow for revenue collections in line with the policies in place.

3. Working closely with the project team on system development and designing on an on-going basis.

4. Identifying, documenting, all requirements for revenue processes.

5. Developing and maintaining expert knowledge of the business at route and markets level, understanding and acting upon the differences between them.

6. Responding to internal and external enquires in respect of tax rates, reservations and revenue.

7. Producing and publishing internal revenue reports.

8. Working with the revenue collection team in order to develop initiatives aimed at ensuring that the revenue budgets are delivered.

9. Providing support for and assisting with analysis to inform future business planning, including but not limited to timetable changes, additional services, strengthening services, new routes and impact of engineering and contingency planning.

10. Managing stakeholder relationships and foster continuous communication.

11.Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
