     Applications are invited from suitably qualified Ugandans to fill available vacancies in Government Ministries, Departments and Agencies. Minimum Qualification
Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in either Land Surveying and Geomatics; or Land Surveying and Geo Spatial Science; or Land Surveying and Information Systems; or Land Economics; or Land Valuation plus a Master’s Degree in the above fields from a recognized University / Institution. Applicants should be registered with the relevant professional body.
Working Experience
Applicants should have a minimum of nine (9) years working experience, three (3) of which should have been gained at Assistant Commissioner or Head of Department level in Government or from a reputable organization.
Duties
The incumbent will be responsible to the Director Physical Planning for performing the following duties:-

-    Developing and reviewing land surveying and land management plan and set benchmarks for the implementation of the planned projects in line with the Authority’s objectives.

-    Developing and reviewing surveying and land management policies and guidelines in the KCCA in line with the applicable laws.

-    Initiating review and providing technical advice to management on the implementation of surveying and land management policies in line with the Authority’s objectives.

-    Initiating and implementing surveying and land management reforms in KCCA in line with the land management law in the company

-    Planning and reviewing land registration process, create a data bank for land information system in the KCCA in line with the Authority’s objectives

-    Developing and reviewing a system for monitoring the implementation of surveying activities in KCCA as per the KCCA objectives.

-    Managing performance and developing staff under direct supervision as per the Human Resources performance management policy.

 

-    Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
