Recruitment Process

Jobs are declared from ministry department and agencies

Once received in the Public Service Commission, an advert is sent out for prospective applicants to apply

The application forms are recieved, compiled and shortlisting is conducted according to job requirements

Depending on the number of shortlisted candidates, Public Service Commission determines whether to subject applicants to an aptitude test basing on a ratio of 1:6 (6 candidates to compete for 1 position)

The aptitude results are ranked according to the order of performance, Depending on the number of vacancies, the best candidates are shortlisted for orals Candidates are subjected to;

With the participation of the technical representative from respective ministry departments and agencies, the public service commission conducts oral interviews. Based ranked candidates according to order of merit are offered jobs depending on the number of vacancies.

Successful candidates are notified through letters and telephone calls and advised to report to the respective ministry departments and agencies for issues of appointment letter.
