Applicants are advised to: -
a) Apply ON-LINE.
b) Scan, attach and submit On-line recent passport size photograph and relevant documents (O’ Level, A’ Level, Degree and Professional Documents, copies of letters of appointment, confirmation and promotion).
c) Each attachment must not exceed a limit of 1MB and only portable documents format (PDF) is allowed.
d) The passport should be less than 150KB and in the standard image formats i.e. JPGE, PNG or JPG.
e) Print an Extract of PS Form 3 (2008) and obtain recommendation from the Responsible Officer. Scan the recommendation together with the rest of the documents and submit online.

b) As a new user click on ‘Register’ to create your account and complete your profile starting with the Bio data moving downwards
c) If you already have an account simply sign in and update your profile
d) Click on Jobs then Advertised Jobs on the menu.
e) View available adverts and the jobs therein.
f) Select a Job from the list of Advertised Jobs.
g) View the Job Details and Click Apply now.
h) Review your application and SUBMIT. Once submitted, applications cannot be edited or withdrawn.

- Developing and reviewing policies, and strategies for regulation of Chemistry Diagnostic Laboratories situated at national, regional, ports of entry/border posts and districts;
- Supervising the activities of the Senior Chemist to undertake functions in the chemistry, animal nutrition and food safety laboratories;
- Planning and implementing Chemistry, nutrition and food laboratory programmes and managing laboratory system according to ISO/IEC 17025:2005 international guidelines;
- Providing technical support on specifications and procurement plans for Chemistry, food and nutrition laboratory: equipment, reagents and chemicals as well as works and service provision;
- Supervising the documentation of standard operating procedures, method for development of best methods and validation processes in the Chemistry laboratory;
- Researching on and carrying out investigations of potency and safety of animal drugs, chemicals and vaccines;
- Supervising periodic maintenance, calibration and servicing of all Chemistry laboratory equipment and ensuring that the instruments are functional and in good working conditions at all times;
- Preparing and presenting reports to the Assistant Commissioner Diagnostics and Epidemiology;
- Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
