Minimum Qualification
Applicants should be Ugandans in possession of an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Economics; or Economics and Statistics; or Project Planning and Management; plus a minimum of a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management; or Monitoring and Evaluation; or any other relevant field from a recognized University/Institution.Applicants should have well developed skills and techniques in project analysis, monitoring and evaluation, ethics and integrity.
Working Experience
Applicants should have nine (9) years relevant working experience, three (3) of which should have been served at the level of Principal Economist in Government or equivalent level of experience from a reputable organization.
Duties
The incumbent will be responsible to the Under Secretary for performing the following duties:-

Designing and formulating development projects in specific areas in consultation with other stakeholders;

Monitoring the progress of ongoing projects in Northern Uganda or Karamoja and Luwero regions;

Designing and implementing surveys and studies;

Preparing of quarterly and annual monitoring Reports for projects in Northern Uganda, Karamoja and Luwero regions;

Collecting, monitoring and evaluating information;

Coordinating initiatives of various funding agencies;

Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
