-        Organizing, inspecting, giving technical advice and supervising nursing in workplaces;

-        Planning and conducting health education, maternal and child health and family planning programmes for workers and their dependants;

-        Planning for rehabilitation of injured or diseased workers;

-        Investigating and advising on nutrition of workers and their dependants;

-        Assisting in various medical examinations and in first aid training;

-        Researching on occupational health nursing for stakeholders and in higher institutions of learning;

-        Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
